Great resiliency by the Yanks. They really dug deep and gave it all they had. They have nothing to be ashamed of. Really. I'm not kidding. I'm sure the real Murderer's Row back in the Babe Ruth days would have rolled over and died. Good job all around.
Joe Torre would be nuts not to "retire," until 30 days from now when he realizes "retirement is not for him" and he goes on to Boston, and emasculates Steinbrenner, Cashman, and new mgr Lou Pinella.
By the way, I didn't watch any of this series, so I'm not letting facts get in the way of my opinion. kq
